Turned up at the log pile, and found some plant which dwarfed the log rover and blocked the way

had to work down the side of the pile. Filled up and .....

... deposited some elm back at the woodshed ready for winter burning

removing a few standing dead elms from a local fruit farm

came across some burr elm

passing these on to a local woodturner

new vertical exhaust on the unimog - now the black smoke looks good

knocked some more of the garden wall down and carted away the blocks in the logrover, so that...

... i could fit another motor on the drive!

some evening splitting this time - using the spotlight fitted to the splitter a while ago, but not actually used before

does well under the gathering storm clouds

light also swivels to illuminate the loadbed when finished splitting. Also a pair of rear worklights when required

another job, and a few trees to remove in a garden - so a cherry picker was hired
