pistons and cam out

oil pump gears

some wear

and a cracked outer gear

scored casing

caps off and crank out

checking journal diameter and runout - all ok

this is the flexi plate removed - well cracked...

glad i found this...

ordered a complete Turners engine with top hat liners as too much wear on the whole of the old engine

an expensive box (cost more than the car...)

about ready to go in

dropped back into the engine bay, and gearbox, torque converter and mounts all connected up

starting to build it back up, with the manifolds first

then the rocker covers and front mounting assemblies
